Hosted by the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Facilities and Capital Trees

What?

Join the City of Richmond's Parks & Rec and our partners, Capital Trees, in planting new trees! We will be planting new trees in property, as well as maintaining existing young trees at Swansboro Playground, in the Swansboro / Broad Rock neighborhoods on Southside. Not only will these trees help beautify the area and create habitat for birds and other local wildlife, but once reaching maturity, they will create shade and cool down temperatures in an area frequented by park visitors and playground users.

When?

Friday, November 6, from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Where?

Swansboro Playground, 3055 Logandale Ave
