Join the City of Richmond's Parks & Rec and the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay for tree care, litter pickup, and beautification at Bill Robinson Park in the Church Hill area.

When?

Thursday, August 20, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Where?

Bill Robinson Park, 701 North 37th Street, Richmond 23223.

Volunteer duties?

Volunteers will be assisting staff from Parks & Rec in various tasks such as weeding, spreading mulch, and litter pickup.

What should I bring?

Please wear comfortable clothes that can get muddy and closed-toe shoes. Please bring a refillable water bottle and a snack. You may also want to bring sunscreen and bug repellent. Tools and gloves will be provided, but feel free to bring your own equipment if you prefer. Accompanied and supervised children are allowed (with a signed waiver), but please no pets!
